Who we are
This website is run by Wealthbrite Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13769173, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Wealthbrite.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. This means we decide how and why it is used. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number 00015854579.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your information, please get in touch through our contact page.
The information we collect
We only collect the information we need. That includes:
- When you contact us through our form: your name, work email, firm, role, the topic you choose and anything you write in your message.
- When you register for one of our webinars: the details you give on the registration page, usually your name and email address, plus any questions you choose to answer.
- When you sign up for our Workplace Report: your name, work email and firm.
- When you email or call us: your contact details and whatever you share with us.
- When you visit the website: basic technical information such as your browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider collects this automatically, along with your IP address, to deliver and secure the site. We also measure how the website is used, in a way that does not identify you (see "How we measure website use" below).
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as details of your health or your personal finances through this website.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about how we could work with your firm.
- To run the webinars you register for, send you joining details and reminders, and follow up afterwards.
- To send you the Workplace Report, the Financial Wellbeing checklist and your free follow-up analysis, if you signed up for them, and occasional related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the website secure, working properly and free from spam.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law we must have a lawful reason to use your information. We rely on:
- Legitimate interests: to respond to business enquiries, run our events and keep our website secure. We only do this where it does not override your rights.
- Contract: where we need your information to provide a service you or your firm have asked for.
- Consent: for any marketing emails, and when you sign up for the Workplace Report and checklist. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or share information.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the messages sent through our contact form and report sign-up form.
- Zoom, which hosts our webinars and handles event registration.
- Fontshare and Google Fonts, which supply the fonts used on this website. Your browser connects to them to load the fonts, which shares your IP address with them.
- Plausible Analytics, which gives us anonymous, overall figures about how our website is used. Plausible is based in the EU and stores its data in the EU.
- Image and logo hosts: some images on this website, such as podcast artwork and partner logos, are loaded from other websites. Your browser connects to those websites to show them.
- Google, through Gmail, which we use for email. Messages you send us are stored there.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How we measure website use
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how our website is used, so we can improve it. It tells us things like how many people visit, which pages and sections they look at, where they came from (for example a search engine or LinkedIn) and which buttons and links they use.
Plausible does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not collect personal data. It does not track you across other websites, build a profile of you or share data with advertisers. We only ever see overall figures, never information about an individual visitor.
If you would rather not be counted at all, you can switch it off for this browser:
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The services that load our fonts, images and forms may use strictly necessary technical data to work and stay secure.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, related emails and webinar registration details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, run our events and keep in touch about work that follows. Decisions at law firms can take time, so this may be several years. We then delete or anonymise the information.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your information
- ask us to transfer your information to another organisation
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, get in touch through our contact page. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
