Meet the
Wealthbrite team
Proudly shaking things up to improve performance and drive progress.
Our Origins
At Wealthbrite, we fundamentally believe that financial confidence leads to better work and greater commercial success. Poor financial literacy costs the UK economy £20 billion annually. So for us, this isn’t about training as a way of being “nice” or doing the “right thing” as an employer. It’s about survival and success in a hyper-competitive market.
Our Story so far
Carla Hoppe, founded Wealthbrite on a mission to bring the world of finance to life for millions of people in work. Take a look at how we've grown over the last three years.
2021
The Spark of an Idea
On a brisk walk through Hertford Woods, the name Wealthbrite was born. More than just a name, it symbolised our vision: to empower people and businesses through financial literacy, unlocking the potential for greater economic success.
2022
Laying the Foundations
We launched our Financial Foundations programme in beta, partnering with forward-thinking businesses in the tech and legal sectors. As the UK's cost of living crisis gripped the nation, we were there to support their teams, giving them the tools and knowledge to navigate financial challenges with confidence.
2023
Year of Growth
Carla made the leap to join Wealthbrite full-time and we introduced our new digital programme, Wealthbuilder, helping businesses prioritise financial wellbeing in a whole new way. A key milestone was launching industry insights with our Financial Wellbeing in Law initiative.
2024
Recognition & Investment
This year marked a turning point. We closed our pre-seed investment round, developed our Rainmaker programme and grew our team. Our work in the legal sector caught the attention of industry leaders and we picked up the Best For-Profit Adult Education award at the Global Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards—a testament to the real-world impact of our work.
